Glittering Treats for the Body and The Soul was a unique event held at the lovely home of George and Annabelle Cross in Green Turtle Cay on Friday, 18th March 2005.  Ladies from Green Turtle Cay and the mainland Abaco gathered to enjoy a delicious hordeurve luncheon while making selections from Teresa Ellis Cetto's beautifully created collection of Imaginings in Gold and Silver.  Her unique jewelry featured beach glass and shells  found on Abaco beaches that were adorned with beautiful hand carved embellishments of silver and gold.  Everyone had a wonderful afternoon and the event was deemed a tremendous success!

Our second Glittering Treats was held in the early evening at the beautiful home of Pat and Louise Green on Saturday, 24th February 2007.  A delicious dinner of Shrimp Creole and Chicken Seseme was prepared by the extraordinary Island Roots Heritage Festival Committee and was enjoyed by all after Teresa Ellis Cetto once again excited everyone with her collection of Imaginings in Gold and Silver.

The committee raised monies for the festival by selling tickets for the meal and by having Ms. Cetto donate a portion of her jewelry sales to the committee.  Green Turtle Ferry provided transportation from the Treasure Cay Ferry dock to Green Turtle Cay and return.
